Hi maintainers and contributors to the gnunet-git package in Archlinux (CC'd),
we recently included a systemd service file based on (read: at the moment 1:1
the same,
with an added comment of origin) your systemd service file in the gnunet-git
branch
of the AUR repository.
Since neither Archlinux nor AUR provide a clear licensing statement, and we
like to be
on the safe side, I have 2 questions:
1. Of those CC'd in the email who touched the .service file in question,
do you give us permission to include and modify the file?
2. Out of curiosity and for future references: What is the license on the AUR
git repository
and the Archlinux packages git repository? No clear indication means as far
as I am
concerned that it is the default license for most legal domains (all rights
reserved).
We'd have to consider the threshold of originality though.
Cheers,
ng0 for GNUnet
