Hi

I am trying to find a reason to further develop my programming skills,
and thus have been thinking of a useful project to throw my free time at.

Just wanted to ask here: have there been attempts? Does anyone care to join?

And most of all, which programming language would you suggest?

My primary idea was to make something like retroshare but more like
soulseek (searchable) to make a music repo of sorts. ID3tag integration
would be a pain for later, but worth mentioning already.

Love to read your pointers / advise.
