That patent was filed by Jim McCoy, a founder of Mojo Nation.  He now has a 
new company, hivecache.com.

I wrote something about it a long time ago:

Since then, Jim reminded me that he owes me stock options from my days 
laboring under his leadership at Mojo Nation, so the part about me having 
"no commercial relationship" isn't exactly true.

Frankly, I've never bothered to read the patent application all the way 
through, myself...
