Follow-up Comment #2, task #15109 (project gnuastro):
I tried the build and it didn't crash, although it did give a "unused variable
‘dsize’" warning, which I assume will be fixed later once you implement
the insides of the function.
Let me address these questions in sr #110195: "What are other things I need to
change and are the current changes right? What else is to be done? What are
the things I'm getting wrong? Any suggestion?"
You have taken the right first steps, that's good! So I recommend looking
around a little more in the similar functions of other operators and
completing it.
Don't worry about the optimization in the first phase ;-). Just do a basic
implementation that does the job (even if you have to load the whole image!).
Once it works (and you master the whole process), then start optimizing ;-).
