"apparently" perhaps, if one only sees the distrowatch entry -
distrowatch defines 'discontinued', as "not actively developed" -
it is a total misunderstanding of what that distro is; and what
the term: 'discontinued' actually means
the term: 'discontinued' is only meaningful for manufactured
physical objects - it means: "the factory is no longer producing
replicas of that model" - ie: the only way to get one, is to find
a pre-owned one - free software does not work that way
if one actually looks at the dynebolic website, it is "apparent",
that dynebolic is still available - ie: "the factory is still
producing replicas" - it does not need to be a new model, in
order to be useful - it only needs to be available
