gnokii using irda for model 3200

Hi All,

   I have a Nokia 3200 which unfortunately fell from quite a height and
   now its display isn't working. The phone is otherwise working.

   I don't have a cable to connect it to the PC. But my laptop has
   IR port, so i tried gnokii using the IR port. However I'm not sure if
   it's working fine. The relevant part of the config (~/.gnokiirc) is:

   port = /dev/ttyS1
   model = 6510
   connection = infrared

   I've checked in the BIOS and the IR port is set to COM2 and IRQ3.
   The laptop is a Dell D610, running Ubuntu Dapper.

   The output of gnokii --identify:
