FYI an initrd-free version (which also includes ftrace support, to try
to track down the I/O crash issue) is now up for peoples testing
pleasure at:

http://config.fsf.org/misc/linux-image-2.6.32.2-libre-lemote2_2.6.32.2-libre-lemote2-10.00.Custom_mipsel.deb

(I'll try it later today)

FYI this is the first time I've used distcc to do the compile (I'll send
out an announcement about that when it gets a little nicer); it cut
compile time at least in half, from around 4 hours to 2 hours; I think
there is room for improvement to get it down to 1.5h or less (possibly
much less if SiCortex stuff works out.)

(source and "live" build tree are also up at http://config.fsf.org/misc )
