I asked about it on the #beijinglug channel.

<BLUG_Fred> graziano: known issue (at least by Lemote)
<BLUG_Fred> graziano: they're working on it

<BLUG_Fred> graziano: but I have no more information than what I heard
in their office... poor wifi performance

BLUG_Fred suggested me to ask in the debian-mips mailing list.

Samy, can you ask the following two questions for me?

Thanks.

a) I can connect to wireless networks but once connected I can't browse
the web or ping until I stand next to the wifi router
Three steps away and I can't ping anymore (but remain connected).

b) my sources.list on debian on the yeeloong is a bit strange.

deb http://www.anheng.com.cn/debian lenny main
deb-src http://www.anheng.com.cn/debian lenny main
deb http://www.anheng.com.cn/debian-security lenny/updates main
deb-src http://www.anheng.com.cn/debian-security lenny/updates main

Previously it had also contrib non-free (that I deleted).

Are there some "official" Lemote repositories for Debian targetted at
the Yeeloong?
