Actually, I like the feature of automatic download.
We would not need this anymore, technically speaking,
but it would be worth having a copy, maybe with a switch.
The curl adapter currently uses a temporary file (a filedescriptor
w/out name) but would be nice to map the fd to a real file so that
it's possible to run the movie again from and analyzing it locally.
