I'm not sure we did, but we'll surely be able to tell if -Werror
is on. We discussed with Bastiaan about this some time ago, and
we decided to provide a ./configure switch to *disable* -Werror
for cases in which the error (it happens often with -pedantic and
so much external deps) are external.
