[gforth] Peephole optimize compiler

Hello,

Just for my own intellectual curiosity as I learn more about forth, is
there a way to turn off the peehole optimized compiler so that
compile, just becomes , ?

I tried turning it off with the PEEPHOLE flag, all sorts of things die
during the build because of the exclusion of the \+ peephole section
in prim.
