I primarily (well exclusively) code in Typed Racket, ergo (λ: ()).  A single character binding for now supports both Guile, Racket and TypedRacket.

If Gesier decides to adopt a "template" http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/wiki/CategoryTemplates engine then these are just another set of snippits in a standard default set of templates from Geiser.  Something along the lines of a C-c \ TAB to get the desired  (λ ()) or  (λ: ()) I think.
