it's still a little bit confusing, sry, because it starts with free space and
then gives usage %
Just tell me who's really interested in percentage, besides that it's a cool
looking number, it has nearly now practical value. 11% of 300G or 11% of 3G
have total different meaning, when you deal with video, and what you almost
always would do is, calculate the exact GB left free.
How about:
Folder size: 650 MB
Mount root: /home Size: 300 GB
Device Free: 34 GB
It looks uncommon, but this would let us visually detect the 2 most important
figures (650/34) immediately, just because they are separated by a middle line.
Think biological :) that's human programming...
by the way it should be 'MB' since Mb seems to be reserved for Megabit.
ps. linux df and du manpage say they calculate figures in units of 1024 bytes,
and i'm not totally sure how this is called correctly (since Giga means 1000^3)
but let's just adopt the common 'GB' abbreviation.
