Recently returning from hacktivist work in South America, Victoria Sinclair will present a talk on the free software & free culture movements in global hacklabs.

The talk will include a short film on the Pontos de Culturas network and the plans for several other hacklabs around Brasil.

Additionally, a discussion will be lead on how partnerships can be created between Manchester and hacklabs in other countries.

For those interested in (participating/attending/just finding out more about) the forthcoming hackademia festival, attendance is highly recommended.

The event will include a Q&A session, discussion and then lively debate
in the pub afterwards.
