            this has to be an obvious threat to anyone who is identified to the 
Beeb licensing authorities whether or not they understand anything about free 
software. Note the BBC already do something similar with the Iplayer, in that 
downloads are time locked, even for your own computer. A point that could be 
used to promote free software per se.
