Ouch! I still can't understand people using hotmail and MSN when Yahoo
provide the same service, but without the spam and tiedowns.

From memory, the latest version of GAIM is fine with the latest version
of the messenger protocol, but results can be flakey (broken connections
etc - these are on the MSN side, not GAIM).
