Hi all,

One possibility would be to hold a 
"freesoftware and your business" day at the chamber of commerce 
in each major city.

The venue would be the chamber of commerce and 
they might even be willing to pay an impartial speaker 
of significant standing. 
(What about one of the leaders of the GNUenterprise system, 
GNU-Privacy-Guard or some other business significant package?)

You would have an interested audience, and no competition.
Toipcs could include: "control of your business",
"GNU certification & training of IT staff", 
"Security, stability, and resistance to viruses",
 a "demonstration of applications", 
and "FreeSoftware companies & consultants available in your area".
