I just built the latest version (1.2.5) and the specfile works like a charm.
Using the 'solpayloadsize' workaround does the trick! I should have
mentioned the version from the start, sorry for wasting your time.

I'm planning to use the '-config-file' option to add the correct workaround
flag. I can do this on a per-bmc type in conserver.cf. Would that be the
recommended way?
