A) will it be easy to delete a user and their work out of the system, if
they decided to not consent?

You currently cannot delete a user from Fle3. This is because if the
user has participated in Knowledge Building, his comments should not
be removed, since that would really break the discussion structure.

You can freeze users, so they cannot login, but any information
they've added to the Knowledge Building or Jamming will remain.

I'm wondering if you couldn't first get their consent and then create
their user accounts? You could make a common "demo" user, which the
students could use to first check out the system and then give their
consent.

Removing a user will require that all the notes he's written, all the
webtop items he's created (in shared course folders as well) and all
jamming artefacts and annotation HAVE TO BE REMOVED. The Zope
administrator can user ZMI to do this, but it will take time. And
removing a note will also remove all replies to it.

B) would it be easy/difficult to change their name? And if so, would that
dynamically change all their posts at a later time? [this is for the consent
procedures...i'm trying ot figure out what I can promise them if they decide
to not consent or consent.]

In Fle3 each user has a login account name and a visible nickname.
When the account is first created, the nickname is not set, and the
user's account name is displayed everywhere. The user can set his
nickname ONCE, and once only. After it has been set, it will be
displayed everywhere. All old notes will also show the new nickname.
So yes, the users can change their visible names once. The FLE
Administrator can do it as many times as he wants to any user.
