Hi xabier,
I am one of translators (Russian) and I can help you to start your great
translation work. I have translate manual and homepage, so introduce you
in this branches.
Manual.
To translate a manual you need:
1) Download file
https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/enigma-game/trunk/doc/manual/enigma.texi
from SVN repository;
2) Translate English text to your native (DON'T translate tags, elements
that forms structure and view of document);
3) Make sure that you have texi2html and texi2pdf binaries (to do it,
write at terminal emulator e.g. such command: whereis texi2html), if you
haven't this binaries find source codes of tetex or install package of
tetex corresponding to your Linux distribution.
4) When you already have texi2html and texi2pdf type the following, when
you be at directory with already translated file:
texi2html enigma_sp.texi - compile html-file enigma_sp.html from
existing texi-file enigma_sp.texi
texi2pdf enigma_sp.texi - as first, but for pdf-file
5) If all is ok send enigma_sp.texi to developers.
Homepage.
To translate a homepage you need:
1) Download https://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/enigma-game/homepage
directory from SVN (using next command: svn checkout
svn://svn.berlios.de/enigma-game/homepage).
2) First of all edit homepage/input/output-files.lua. You need add some
strings (for example lang_sp = "_sp") or edit existing (for example, to
language_list = {"", "_de", "_ru"} you must add new "_sp" item).
3) Next translate html-files, but keep in mind that almost all pages
compiles from several (2 or more) html-files. So, in one file insert
content of other and you don't need translate and more one and lesser
one. You only need translate lesser and it content automatically appends
to big file, when you compile homepage. When you translate file save it
with filename like "index_sp.html" (namely to English base name of file
you append "_sp" suffix);
4) To compile homepage you must stand at homepage directory and type:
lua main.lua. It check for English and translated files and generates
needed files. After this step you may check how it looks, simply use
your browser to view index.html at homepage directory.
5) If all is ok send translated html-files to enigma-team (but first
inform them about completed work and ask where you can send result).
Hope it help you, if not (I can forgot something) ask me or another
translators (for example Ronald Lamprecht) for help. Good luck!
