After almost three months of development, Enigma 0.50 has been released
on August 15, 2002. Enigma is a puzzle game in the tradition of Oxyd, a
game classic that originated on the Atari ST. The official web pages
for Enigma can be found at
http://www.freesoftware.fsf.org/enigma/
The new release can be downloaded directly from
http://www.freesoftware.fsf.org/enigma/download.html
The most important highlights of this new version are
* Improved mouse controls in the game,
* Alpha blended shadows,
* An improved menu system,
* Many new game objects,
* Sloped floor,
* 52 new levels (now 96 in all!),
* Mouse-wheel support in the level menu,
* A new level type: meditation landscapes, and
* A Win32 version.
Many thanks to all those who made this release possible. Enigma
wouldn't have come this far without all the encouragement and support I
received since I started this project.
