Hi Leo,

It's great hearing from you here!

Fantastic! I think we could definitely use help in those areas/aspects.
Sacha and I were just chatting the other day about the possibility of
having some sessions continue longer off-stream after their official
allotted time slot, e.g. to have a proper Q&A session with the audience.
If we end up doing that, we would likely need one or more people to take
over managing/running such sessions once the main MC/streamer (probably
me, going by last year's general setup) moves on to the next session.

Thanks. As I briefly mentioned on IRC earlier today, I think our plan
at this point is to accept and host as many talks as we can, much like
last year. And we already completed an initial round of reviews. So I
think there isn't much to be done there as of now. But I'm about to
reach out to everyone who submitted proposals for EmacsConf 2020 to our
emacsconf-submit@ list to start working a more concrete schedule out.
Thankfully, Sacha has already done tremendous work in preparing a draft
schedule, including taking into account the (un)availability of each
speaker. But we following up with speakers and working towards a more
rigid/concrete schedule will still require quite some effort and we'd
definitely appreciate getting help with that. :-)

Thank you for the kind words, and thanks again for volunteering to help
out, Leo!

Looking forward to having you onboard and helping with the conference.

Best,
amin
