Not 100% sure this is a bug rather than misconfiguration, but it looks
like it at first sight:

Open an Org file via ssh:

  C-x C-f /ssh:address@hidden:/org/anOrgFile.org

Export it to PDF:

  C-c C-e l p

I get:

  (lots of pdfTex error text about not being able to find the file
/ssh:address@hidden:/org/anOrgFile.tex)

ending with:

  byte-code: Forbidden reentrant call of Tramp
