To clarify, the intention is to replace the link on

    https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/#Releases

which currently points to

    https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/news/NEWS.28.2

with

    https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/news/NEWS.28.2.html
