That would be blaming us for their treating us badly.

I suppose some people might do that -- but I don't want to
cringe in fear of it.

Regardless of who is to blame, doing that on our part would be counter-productive. So we're very unlikely to even do it.

Thus, the "s" namespace is unfortunately already taken.

If Elisp grew to support namespaces, that could be fixed, of course.
