That would be blaming us for their treating us badly.

I suppose some people might do that -- but I don't want to
cringe in fear of it.

It can't be our responsibility to contact everyone working on a
package that might be useful.  We don't know who they are, or what
they are working on, until they release it.

The only way that can work is if they contact us.

This is not the way we want contributions to arrive.
