> Maybe as a compromise there could be a way to mark a warning so that a > disable button isn't shown for it? Better would be to replace this "disable warning" button with a "go fix it" button which tries to jump to the source of the problem (e.g. opens the .emacs file, looks for package-initialize, and emits a message saying that this call should likely be removed (or highlights the package-initialize call with such a message)).
