I had one problem building from this tarball.  I have some headers
installed in unusual places, so I pass the appropriate -I flags in
CPPFLAGS.  But lwlib/Makefile.in does not use CPPFLAGS in the rule for
lwlib.o, so I had some missing-header errors.  When I added CPPFLAGS
to that rule, everything worked.
