Although it's embarrassing to change the behaviour of coding systems, it's quite confusing to have coding systems utf-16-le and utf-16-be which are different from the mime charset UTF-16LE and UTF-16BE respectively as to the handling of leading signature bytes (BOM: Byte Order Mark). --- Ken'ichi HANDA address@hidden
