We've made the transition to using -flag in mh-e since this thread
started. But I'll admit to being worried that some-variable-flag will
eventually need to hold more than nil or t, and we'll be testing for
some symbol. And then the -flag name won't hold true and we'll have to
rename it and break people's .emacs file.
