It's not easy for me to do that.  The slow machine runs the stock
v21.1 Emacs, and is not connected to the net, so installing the CVS
version there is a pain.

So if I'm the only one who sees this, I suggest to postpone the issue
for later.  I'll revisit if I see this after moving to a newer
version on that machine.
