[Dvdrtools-users] BUG: dvdrecord fails where cdrecord-prodvd suceeds.

I bought some blank Memorex DVD-R to try in my new HP 840x DVD writer.

I have a 4.1 GibiByte image to burn on the disk, so I tried it the
simple way first:

dvdrecrd -dao -v dev=1,0,0 iso.image

After writing 511 MB, dvdrecord reports a scsi error, and quits.
Output is:

I tried it again, with another blank, thinking it was just a bad
disk.  Same exact result, at the same exact place (511 MB).

I dowloaded cdrecord-prodvd, tried it with yet another blank,
and no problem.

Cdrecord-prodvd does give some interesting warning information, though:

Hints, suggestions, questions from anyone?  Seems like a dvdrecord
bug to me.
