Details:

The latest version of boto (1.1c) now defaults to virtual hosting of S3
buckets. This means that bucket names must conform to the same rules as DNS
hostnames, including being considered case-insensitive. This results in a
condition where previous backups made to a bucket name containing upper-case
characters, are no longer accessible to duplicity (when uses with version of
boto >= 1.1c).

The attached patch causes boto to use the traditional calling method for
buckets.
