I have a flow graph that makes use of Reed Solomon encoding for a portion of the error correction and I noticed an odd issue with certain values. Under certain settings the Reed Solomon Decoder output has errors under a clean channel. The errors seem to be related to packing the output from the encoder and then immediately unpacking the output for the encoder. However if you change the settings the pack/unpack does not have the same effect. Can anyone help me narrow down the root cause of my issue? Right now I am using alternative settings, but I would prefer to correct the issue.
