> An idea of alternative: unpopular feature

Hi Narcis,
thanks for the suggestion!

While the wording is more friendly, it also seems to hide a logical fallacy: if
a feature is simply unpopular, then warning users about it wouldn't be
justified.

Consider this real-life example: laws against certain misconduct exist because
such negative behaviour is common and harmful enough to require regulation.
Similarly, it makes sense to issue warnings only when something is widespread
and negative enough to present a significant concern for the community.

Another issue could be that, by warning the public while calling something
unpopular, you inadvertently instil curiosity and give it visibility.

For example, if I say that developer X is harming the user base by developing
unpopular feature Y, a visitor who sees this message might decide to search
online for X and Y to fact-check or at least understand why the FSD says they
are unpopular. However, every time you search for something online, those
search terms increase in rank and after a while, they might even start being
recommended as search suggestions, making both X and Y more likely to be
imitated.

Happy New Year,🍾
