Details:

I clicked on the link to download the installer and when I opened the file
Windows Defender said that there was malware in it.

I clicked on the link on this page
http://denemo.org/downloads-page/

Which points to
http://www.denemo.org/~rshann/Denemo2.4Installer.exe

and the report said it found this

Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml

I pulled the 2.2 installer from a link further down the page which points to 
http://denemo.org/downloads/denemo-2.2.0-0.mingw.exe

which did not have any issues.
