[Denemo-devel] Removing the out-of-date "stable" tag

This tag is misleading as it never gets updated.
It would be better to get rid of it. I read that these commands would do
that:

git tag -d stable
git push origin :refs/tags/stable

Does anyone know anything to the contrary?
