I had a 64 bit system once. I had all the 32 bit binaries installed in a chroot. I was documented in a tutorial somewhere. I had a 64 bit system but used a 32 bit Firefox so I can use the plugins that were only available in 32 bit.

There are classes for it but I have no idea how much work it would be. I wouldn't be able to test it either. Can 32bit systems produce 64 bit binaries?
