[Denemo-devel] Feature Freeze 0.8.14

I hereby announce the Feature Freeze for 0.8.14.

All work on adding new features is suspended, shifting the effort towards 
fixing bugs and improving the user experience. The addition of new features may 
have a disruptive effect on other parts of the program, due both to the 
introduction of new, untested source code or resources and to interactions with 
other features; thus, a feature freeze helps improve the program's stability.

Gub Status: Win32 broken, Darwin-x86 broken. I'm working on it.

These are the points which should be tested and bugfixed, too.

    * Zoom for the Denemo display
    * Mulit-line display of music.
    * Midi Controls and a Generic Control Change (CC) directive
          o Master Tempo command
          o Master Volume command
          o Loop control - edit your music while it loops. 
    * Apply To Selection for script-authors
          o Upgrade of some scripts to work with selections.
          o New Pref that turns "Apply to Selection" on/off 
    * New Cursor Movement: Standard Keys don't alter the selection
          o Select with mouse and keyboard in a traditional way 
(shift+left/right), in multiple staffs at once 
    * Convert GM Drum-staffs to users' Drumnotation. The mapping can be edited 
visually by using a normal .denemo template. 

Planned:

    * MIDI player controls Midi Player Controls
    * MIDI effects - controllable note duration, crescendi etc Midi Effects
