To be clear: we have reached the stage of defining the release (which in
this case, because you generated the branch a while back means merging
onto the 0.8.12 branch, except for the version number). Having specified
that this is the release we need at least a few days of testing before
uploading and announcing it to the world.
The bad news is that I just tested the gubbed build under Windows XP, it
too is showing funny sounding notes. As the same effect cannot be heard
on Linux when reverb is checkmarked (and using the same soundfont) I am
guessing it is not actually the reverb effect, but just some distortion.
Any suggestions for parameter values that could fix this?
