Have you previously used Denemo? - if so remove the .denemo folder
(usually in My Documents), as it would be possible to have corrupting
things in there.
Another approach:
Does LilyPond work on its own?
If you hide LilyPond (rename c:\program files\lilypond to something else
temporarily) does denemo then work? Do you have any other gtk-based
programs installed (and earlier in the path)?
