DDD 3.3.9 (i686-pc-cygwin) gets `BadIDChoice' error

Hi there,

When I wanted to start ddd for debugging I got the following error:
DDD 3.3.9 (i686-pc-cygwin) gets `BadIDChoice' error. The console
output of ddd is attached to this message along with the logfile.

Until now I have never had problems. I noticed that a recent update
(from cygwin) updated GDB but after that point I have successfully
worked with ddd. Somehow I constantly get this bugreport and I haven't
found a way to start ddd without this problem.

Sorry, but I don't have time to go through all the newsgroups to find
out if this is an old bug but a quick netgrep on "DDD 3.3.9
(i686-pc-cygwin) gets `BadIDChoice' error" resulted in nothing.

If I can be of any help on this error, let me know.
