According to GNU date, the capitalization is ok. I only noticed a small
difference: date uses `Z' (alphabetic time zone abbreviation) instead of
`z' (numeric timezone).
So, I changed
(date-time . "~a ~b ~d ~H:~M:~S~z ~Y")
to
(date-time . "~a ~b ~d ~H:~M:~S~Z ~Y")
