Hi,
i still did not find any hint in the web what
non-integer type the symbol "timezone" might have
in your Cygwin compile time environment.
If gdb is willing to work on Cygwin, try this
$ cd .../xorriso-1.3.9
$ gdb xorriso/xorriso
(gdb) b main
(gdb) r
(gdb) whatis timezone
(gdb) quit
y
On my Linux it says as reply for "whatis timezone":
type = <data variable, no debug info>
Now i'm curious about Cygwin.
