Hi,
I am trying to generate Linux based LiveCD under Windows, at first I used
the mkisofs of Windows version, however it can't support the '-e' option, which
cause the generated iso can't boot efi machine.
Then I turned to use xorriso since xorriso works well under Linux, I re-compiled
the xorriso with Cygwin, but there are some issues happened when use it,
please see the follows:
libisofs: FAILURE : Read error
xorriso : FAILURE : Failed to prepare session write run
xorriso : NOTE : -retun_with SORRY 32 triggered by problem severity FAILURE
And the cmd which I used is "..\xorriso -as mkisofs -U -A centos65 -V centos65 -volset centos65 -J -joliet-long -r -v -T -o ../centos65.iso -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/
boot.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -eltorito-alt-boot -e boot/grub/efi.img -no-emul-boot ."
Did I use the wrong cmd or there is problem with Cygwin compiled xorriso? Thanks a lot.
PS: Is there other ways can generate Linux LiveCD (support efi boot) under Windows? Thanks again.
Regards,
Gary
