  Tried it, and it compiles and tests perfectly using Caldera's
OSTools version of gcc-2.95.3.  Thanks.

  It bombs out using cc, though.  So let me know if you want the info
on that, and I'll post a new thread.

I'm not sure where I would have found the FAQ besides searching

  Aha.  I din't think that google archived this list.  When I tried
to look in the above links, they didn't have a search option, and
that's why I was confused.
