Worked.. I haven't tested the program thoroughly but for the same task
I was trying it worked. What was the issue? I saw the correction, but I
couldn't understand what were the effects on the change

Try the attached patch; to apply it, enter the
libsrcinst directory and:

$ patch < PATCH_FILENAME.udiff

then reinstall.

If it does not work, please give me your
~/.sourceinstall/sourceinstallrc file and provide the
command that you use to run sourceinstall.
