I have a problem with fat-16, and I don't understand what's happening.
Please someone make things clear for me...
I'm using parted 1.15
"parted /dev/hda print" gives......
Disk geometry for /dev/hda: 0.000-12949.453 megabytes
Disk label type: msdos
1 0.031 415.744 primary FAT boot
2 2047.346 4047.626 extended
5 2047.377 4047.626 logical FAT
and then "parted /dev/hda resize 5 2047.377 3000.000" gives ....
Error: The FATs aren't big enough to describe all clusters! Each FAT is
250 sectors.
There are 63999 clusters, which would require each FAT to be 251
sectors. This is REALLY
weird. You might want to write us an email: address@hidden
