I just updated one of my Macs to XCode 8.3, but didn't see a problem building
current code with that version, e.g.,
http://invisible-island.net/datafiles/current/ncurses.tar.gz
If you're building with current source, it would be helpful to have
the config.log, config.status from configuring, to compare with what
I've built.
