I've found another problem with mutt using ncurses.
The version is 5.4-20050320.
I'm using MLTerm-2.9.2 with ncurses' terminfo.
http://www.momonga-linux.org/~tamo/mutt-bug.tar.bz2
This file contains four pictures. (2.0M is large,
but I was too lazy to find a way to reduce its size.)
[1] mutt_bug.png: strange-looking screen
[2] mutt_bug-indicated.png: [1] with indication
[3] mutt_ok.png: screen with the window widened
just one char width after [1]
[4] mutt_slang.png: [1] using S-Lang-UTF
In [1] or [2], you can see three lines ending with
Japanese wide character are shown incorrectly.
- The first strange line has the last character at
the beginning of it. (compare to [4])
- The second strange one has the same problem, as
well as another obvious problem; it is followed by
a blank line. The third has the same problem.
I have no idea why this problem occurs. But I have
never seen this problem with S-Lang, so I think it's
a bug in ncurses.
